After trying nearly every NA beer available in the US, we still hadn't found what we were looking for - an NA beer that didn't feel like a compromise of some kind. A trip to Germany was revealing: NA beer was much more widespread, and much higher quality than almost all North American brands. And Koblenzer in particular had it all: flavor, tradition and a commitment to the environment.

Founded in 1689, Koblenzer Brauerei has more than 300 years of brewing experience. Beers are crafted with only the finest ingredients in accordance with the German Beer Purity Law of 1516, which means that a beer can only contain hops, malt, water and yeast.   

In addition to crafting Koblenzer's unparalleled flavor, the brewery is committed to a clean environment, the conservation of resources and sustainability, using clean energies and only food-safe refrigerants to cool products in all phases of the manufacturing process. Waste materials that arise during production are disposed of directly in landfills, and detergent solution is neutralized before it enters the sewage system. High-quality cattle feed is produced from spent grains and yeast. The brewery relies on returnable bottles for bottling, accounting for approximately 98% of the product range. The brewery is fully IFS certified for excellence in quality, food safety and customer satisfaction.

Koblenzer Brauerei is located at the gates of the city of Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers flow together.  Founded more than 2000 years ago, Koblenz is one of the oldest cities in Germany.  The cultural landscape of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, in which Koblenz is located, has been on the Unesco World Heritage list since June 2002.
